Why wont my vinyl stick to the transfer tape.
If i pick at them you will notice the damage as they are so small plus i don t really want to have to pick at over 100 individual letters.
I have a little trick that will help you get that vinyl off the backing sheet when it doesn t want to seem to stick to the transfer paper.
I am trying to get some very small words to stick to very smooth plastic but the surface is so slick that the letters stay on the transfer tape.
Since the plastic is smooth and nonporous the vinyl should stick fairly easily.
You create a decal but only some of the letters stick onto the transfer tape while the rest are left behind on the backing paper.
But really it should work really nicely on plastic.
I had to be careful not to remove the carpet from the floor with the super strength adhesive on the transfer tape.
If you re transfer tape won t pick up the vinyl off the backing sheet you re in luck.
After i cut the vinyl with my cricut air 2 measure and cut the transfer tape to fit my vinyl i peel the backing off the transfer tape and stick it down onto my shag carpet.
Then carefully peel back the transfer tape at a 45 angle or more.
No more wasted vinyl.
